My organisation / my project has shown up on the OER World Map. What do I have to do about this?

On the OER World Map the OER community is collecting information on the growing number of actors and activities in the field of open education worldwide and maybe somebody has added your OER project or your organisation. To be able to edit the entry and to add further information you simply have to register yourself! When you are logged in you can start editing:

Checklist for a comprehensive presentation of your project on the OER World Map

  • Show everything your project is connected to and what makes your project special!
  • Appropriate tags and information on the educational sector make it easier to find your project.
  • An English project description additional to a description in the local language is important for the international visibility.
  • Add your profiles on twitter, facebook and win new followers.
  • Add all involved organisations and link to them as project partners.
  • All persons working on the project should register and link themselves to the project. In this way, they become visible as the persons behind a project and can describe their expertise in their personal profile. It is good to name a contact person!
